Heard it through the grapevine...
24/04/2007: We will harvest the last of the Riesling and the Merlot on Friday, and that will be the end of the 2007 harvest... In the mean time in the winery, most tanks are in the middle of the fermenting process.
18/04/2007: The last of the Sauvignon, Semillon were harvested yesterday. This morning we haversted the first lot of Riesling
10/04/2007: After a successful Easter week we are almost half way through harvest. The Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris have all been picked and today we harvested more Sauvignon Blanc. If the weather keeps up we hope to finish the Sauvignon Blanc by next week.
27/03/2007: All is on track for this years harvest. Our vineyard staff are taking off the nets to start picking the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay tomorrow and Thursday.

The 2007 Falveys Sauvignon Blanc wins the trophy for the best export wine at the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards
On Saturday 24 March Omaka Springs Estates Falveys Sauvignon Blanc 2006 was awarded the Champion Export wine at the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards Dinner This is the 3rd Trophy for the 2006 Falveys Sauvignon Blanc as this wine already won the Trophy for the Best Sauvignon Blanc as well as the Trophy for the Reserve Wine of the Show at the 2006 Bragato Awards.
Sauvignon Blanc 2006 wins Blue Gold and Top 100 at the Sydney International Wine Show 2007
Our 2006 Sauvignon Blanc made it into the prestiguous Sydney top 100. 2000 wines are entered every year in this competition and the top 100 wines, when paired with food, are awarded top 100 & Blue Gold.
