"Deep garnet-purple-colored, the 2011 Merlot has a nose of red and black currants, mulberries and wild blueberry with underlying Mediterranean herb, black pepper and menthol hints. Medium-bodied with a good amount of youthful and primary black fruit, it has well-managed, soft tannins, a refreshing acid line and a medium to long, herb-laced finish."
