"An elegant, silky-smooth and complex pinot, the fragrant bouquet shows red cherry, plum, savoury mushroom and floral characters. It's ripe and refined on the palate with a flowing mouthfeel. Tannins are fine and supple. Lovely balance. The wine shows Southern Valley's famous fine yet rich texture."
- Sam Kim, Wine Orbit Magazine (NZ)
"This is a soft, warm savoury wine that displays dark blackcurrants on the nose but more red fruit in the palate with notes of smoke and dried herbs. The tannins and oak and neatly in balance creating a very pleasing result."
