2014 Sauvignon Blanc

Alcohol: 12.5%
Brix at Harvest: 21.5
Residual Sugar: 4g/l
Harvest date:  28.03-17.04
This is an ultimately refreshing take on Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Showing great restraint in the acidity  while maintaing a crisp backbone from which displays bursts of tropical fruits complemented by garden array of herbaceous characteristics.

  • 3.5 Stars Bob Campbell (NZ) - Fresh, youthful Sauvignon Blanc with pineapple, grapefruit, green apple and lime flavours. A reasonably green and austere style but with some weight and richness. Reminds me a little of a youthful Hunter Valley Semillon.

  • 91 Points  Wine Enthusiast (USA)

  • 90 Points 4 stars Wine Orbit (NZ)  – A finely expressed Sauvignon, it is aromatic and inviting on the nose showing grapefruit, peach, lime zest and subtle herbaceous characters. The palate is lively and flavoursome. Offers excellent fruit purity and intensity, finishing long and crisp.
